On Thursday 15th October I'll be getting my grubby mitts on the new issue of Staple Magazine, at a special launch at Quad.Hosted by Staple editor Wayne Burrows, there will be readings from some of the issue's contributors, an open mic section, and the evening will be rounded off by poet Jacqueline Gabbitas. Hello Hubmarine are also doing a sneaky set, so I'll be either dusting off, or polishing up a story, as well as getting the Bach Rescue Remedy at the ready.
The event is free and starts around 7:30pm. The theme is words and art. Quad have good cakes. How many more reasons to come does a person need?
